Meet Her Platform — Teen Vogue's New Social Project All About Street Style

Burberry trench coat and bucket hat, Frame socks, Nike sneakers.

Defining "style" isn't as simple as it used to be and because of that, people have finally stopped trying to. Thanks to Instagram for making street style inspiration visible for everyone regardless of where they are, and the fashion world's collective decision to take everything a lot less seriously (read: sneakers and sweatpants are high fashion), it's become obvious that rules and boundaries have no place in personal style. It's all about looking good and feeling better, experimenting, and letting the person underneath the clothes shine through — and we couldn't be more excited about it. So much so, that Teen Vogue has been working on a space to explore all of that and more.
In case you missed it, we recently launched Her Platform: an Instagram dedicated to girls and femmes who are actively changing the narrative and reclaiming the traditional ideals around style. It's for young people who make conscious choices about everything they put on their body, but who know that style goes beyond that, too. It's for the ones who follow sneaker culture just as intently as they do the runways.
Expect style features on our favorite follows doing big things, motivational words and the same gorgeous editorials that Teen Vogue is known for, just like this shoot below. We're just getting started, and we're excited to have you along for the ride.
